Carole Laurette Shaw, the popular and successful interior designer was born and raised in Savannah, GA. Now making Atlanta her home with her Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design she is the owner of CLS Interiors, an interior design company. Laurette Shaw’s educational background paired with her experience with Phillips Inc., and Interior Design Atlanta she has created a well recognized brand in the real estate industry.
In addition to Laurette Shaw’s adoration and talent in the interior design industry she is also actively involved in several construction design and renovation design projects. Laurette Shaw is currently working on two separate renovation and construction design projects in Alys Beach, Florida, one project with Great Guana Key – Bakers Bay, and lastly a collaborative project with J, Davis Architects of Raleigh, North Carolina for the Yards at NoDA apartment homes.
Laurette Shaw’s real estate involvement pales to her community involvement and philanthropy however. Laurette Shaw and husband James Shaw donated 100 acres of land to the Savannah College of Art and Design’s Equestrian team, providing a covered riding area to prevent the team from having to cancel class due to inclement weather.
Additionally, Laurette Shaw has made significant donations to the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Circle of Care, and various other organizations. Laurette Shaw’s drive and attention to detail allow her to take on several projects at once. However her most treasured time spent is that with her family, traveling, boating, and playing golf and tennis, as well as following professional sports on television on peaceful days at home.
